What we offer you here is to make a rustic meal from aperitif to dessert by making clever skewers yourself using picks all that are most natural! No need for commercial picks - metal or white wood - to make skewers. What we offer you is to make them yourself by drawing on natural resources. Here, we have chosen twigs of hazel, a tree very widespread in our gardens and in the wild. The hazelnut tree is without risk, but beware of other species such as the oleander which is toxic to it. Do not let children play with this plant, they could then put their fingers to their mouths, and do not use its wood in the application that we describe! Step 1: Cut the branches of the year


These branches measure only a few millimeters in circumference, but they are already robust enough to serve as peaks. Another advantage: their fresh bark which is easily removed as you will see.

Step 2: Remove the leaves and remove the bark
