Design response: scrape, reseal, apply a glass cloth and repaint
Hello Sandrine, you have just bought an apartment whose ceilings are very damaged. To renovate them, I advise you to scrape off the flaking paint, to open the cracks in length and in depth and to fill them well with a filler. If it is an old structure, the walls are called to move: I strongly advise you to put a glass cloth on the blocked cracks to avoid seeing them reappear. You will then sand and coat the canvas with a smoothing coating. You will apply a print coat and two top coats of your choice.
